Doc Holidae is the latest addition to the ranks of talented hip hop artists from the Cleveland,OH/ Taos,NM! Beginning his lyrical journey, some years ago, after graduating high school and immediately learning, through experience, what it takes to support himself, he felt there was more to life than just working to get by. “We all need to do something we love, that makes us feel good and we’re good at. Whether for a living or for personal enjoyment” he says. Having a rough child hood growing up he learned to self express his feelings thru writing. His first album "The Upcoming”,was a compilation of life lessons acquired by a young man taking on the world for the first time. Doc Holidae continued to pen verse, recording his songs with basic music software programs borrowed from friends, hooked up to a laptop in a two bedroom apt. With a natural ear for music, quick wit, and a unique ability to make you think, or party at his discretion, Doc Holidae found himself focusing more on the goal of a career in hip hop. “If it were not for the hard times and days spent alone, I may not have found the love I have for music, and being in the studio recording…everything happens for a reason. Learning on my own, and fending for myself at a young age have added a new dimension to my life."
